Not “are there fish?” —
but “do conditions fit?”
Rodera's score engine is not a catch guarantee but a measure of suitability: for the species and location you pick, it calculates how closely that hour's conditions match the fish's known behavior. Bad days are common; the system can only show you when the right conditions come together.
- Safety first: in dangerous weather, fishing is not suggested for that hour.
- Hour by hour: the day isn't reduced to a single grade; morning, daytime, evening and night are read separately.
- Species- and region-specific: on the same day, in the same place, two species never get the same score.
- No single factor decides: no input can single-handedly max out or zero the score.
The score reads all of these inputs together; the weights and thresholds are unique to Rodera.
